About Hospice of Davidson County
For more than thirty years, Hospice of Davidson County has been entrusted to care for thousands of the County’s residents at the end-of-life. At Hospice of Davidson County our mission is to inspire patients and families to find hope, comfort and meaning in every moment as they face an end-of-life journey.
We are the preferred hospice care provider for Davidson County, serving over 80% of those who choose hospice care in our county. Our agency provides care for patients in their homes, area nursing and assisted living facilities and the county’s only specialized hospice inpatient unit, the Henry Etta and Bruce Hinkle Hospice House. In addition to providing excellent patient care, we support hundreds of bereaved members of our community as they process their grief and heal after a loss, empowering them to move forward and continue to contribute fully to our community.
For the past two years, Hospice of Davidson County was selected as one of 39 out of 1,700 nation-wide hospice providers to receive a nationally recognized hospice of distinction award. The designation was given for exceeding all 18 national quality benchmarks as scored by the designated surveying partner of the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid.
