Kimberley J Hansen MD is a professor of surgery and has been assigned to head of the vascular surgery section at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Hansen has also been recently named president-elect of the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery (SAVS). His knowledge, experience and overall dedication to vascular medicine has put her at the top of the industry.
Kimberley J Hansen MD was elected to the position at the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery during the 30th annual Southern Association for Vascular Surgery meeting held in Phoenix, Arizona in September 2015. Previously, Dr. Hansen had served as secretary-treasurer of the organization.
Kimberley J Hansen MD serves as the program director of the accredited vascular surgery training program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He also serves as the director of the clinical vascular laboratory at Wake Forest Baptist, an outstanding noninvasive imaging center. Kimberley J Hansen MD is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. The SAVS was established to encourage the art and science of vascular surgery and to further education in the broad care of vascular disease.
