State-of-the-art surgery at Medial Park Hospital
Medical Park Hospital is happy to announce that they use daVinci® Surgical System for gynecological, colorectal and urological procedures. The system allows surgeons to perform an alternative to open surgery and conventional laparoscopy, putting the surgeon’s hands at the controls of a state-of-the-art robotic platform. The daVinci technology permits complex and delicate procedures to be performed through tiny incisions with unmatched precision, meaning less pain and shorter recovery times for our patients.
When this technology came to Medical Park Hospital, the hospital was already a leader in the use of laser and laparoscopic surgery. In 1992, it became the first hospital in the area to perform a laparoscopic vaginal hysterectomy and it performed the area’s first robotic hysterectomy in 2006.
