Walnut Cove Senior Citizens Center is located at 308 Brook Street in Walnut Cove, North Carolina. The hours of operation are 8 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. The programs at Walnut Cove Senior Citizens Center are designed with the understanding that keeping seniors active and social is a major part of enjoying their later years. Programs include congregate meals and home delivered meals for seniors that may find cooking difficult because of injury or weakness. We offer information regarding senior health insurance (SHIIP) as well as a variety of other information and assistance.
Walnut Cove Senior Citizens Center is also known for its health and wellness classes to educate the elderly population and help them thrive during their senior years. NC Senior Tar Heel Cards are available here as well as elderly legal referrals. Of course, we also have lots of fun here at Walnut Cove Senior Citizens Center. We have craft classes, massage therapy, a cardio workout area, line dancing, yoga, computer classes and even have a variety of volunteer opportunities to help seniors stay active and healthy.
